Meet Our Leadership Team
Senior Executive Vice President
Steve has spent more than 25 years leading companies within the software and technology sector. In 1997, he co-founded Advanced Utility Systems and grew it into a thriving international enterprise. In 2006, along with his partners, he sold Advanced to Harris. In 2015, after several more years of using his flair for innovation — in combination with solid technical knowledge — to lead the development of new information systems products with Lowfoot Inc., Steve came full circle, returning to Harris to operate Harris Affinity as its executive vice president. Steve’s leadership skills in combination with his broad experience, innate technical abilities and unaffected down-to-earth style inspire the delivery of great products.
Executive Vice President
Stephanie has spent more than 13 years working within the financial management software and technology sector. She has worked first hand with customers in client support, assisted in software implementations at client sites and has demonstrated that she deeply values her customers. Her primary goal was and still is making certain that customers have a positive experience throughout their relationship with Harris Affinity.
In 2018, Stephanie became EVP for Harris Affinity. She now focuses on combining her past experience and the expertise of the Harris Affinity staff with the needs of customers in order to drive innovation. The end goal is to provide each customer with a premier experience using our support, services and products. Her desire is to ensure that Harris Affinity is the best partner that customers can have in the ever-changing healthcare market.
Vice President, Research & Development
Wally has almost 30 years of experience in enterprise software development, starting his career as a software engineer in mobile telephone billing systems with Vanguard Cellular/AT&T Wireless. He moved on to lead various software development, maintenance and application support teams there and at WatchMark and Amazon, and most recently served as chief technology officer (CTO) for two startups. During that time, he worked with products in a number of domains, including network performance management, supply chain, on-demand book manufacturing, EdTech and healthcare.
Vice President, Support Services
Heather comes from a background in accounting and finance. She spent five years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she completed her CPA designation. She started in the audit and assurance group, then worked as a manager in risk assurance services. She joined Harris in January 2018 as a controller in the health care group, supporting several business units, including Harris Affinity. Heather moved into the vice president, support services role in February 2020. She intends to leverage her accounting background and experience as a user of financial software solutions to ensure customers receive high quality support in order to maximize their financial potential.
Vice President, Professional Services
Annie has spent 30 years working with healthcare software. She started in 1989 as a system programmer for Compucare/QuadraMed (later acquired by Harris). She assisted with the implementation of health information management (HIM) applications, before diving into the Affinity query language as a consultant. She became an expert of the query language and taught numerous classes to customers. In 2015, she began managing the professional services team, before moving into the vice president role in 2018. Annie’s positive attitude, respect of the individual and responsiveness to customers and employees are key values that she feels are very important.
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Brian is a sales and marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience designing and executing revenue strategies for software and innovative solutions companies ranging from start-ups to large global organizations. Brian has more than 10 years of experience and dedicated service in the healthcare sector and has spent much of his career helping organizations gain visibility and insights that empower them to make critical financial and strategic decisions.
